What is the World Science Festival Brisbane?

Each March, science comes out of the laboratory and into the streets, parks, museums, galleries and performing arts venues of Brisbane for the World Science Festival Brisbane.

Across five nights and four days, Brisbane comes alive through gripping debates, original theatrical works, interactive experiments and explorations, musical performances, and major outdoor experiences.

Showcasing local scientists and performers from around the Asia Pacific region and the brightest and the best from previous events in New York, the World Science Festival Brisbane is the ultimate destination for scientific insight in the southern hemisphere, positioning Queensland’s capital as an international hub for scientific thought leadership.
